  • Overview

    We are searching for a detail-orientated Accounts Receivable / Trade Analysis Manager with strong analytical skills to provide hands-on leadership for the AR and Trade Accounting functions at a food manufacturer in Northern California.

    Job Function

    • Supervise AR function including credit reviews, collections and reporting.
    • Oversee Trade Accounting and Accrual Process as well as Trade reporting and analysis.
    • Manage staff of 2 employees
    • Develop procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy of order to cash process.
    • Perform analysis of actual results vs plans and forecasts
    • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analysis.
    • Increase productivity by developing automated data processing systems and applications.
    • Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time.
    • Report anything that may compromise food safety and quality to appropriate personnel, including the SQF Practitioner.
    • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), Good Agricultural Practices (GAP’s), and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP’s), when applicable.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline.
    • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
    • Proficient in ERP systems – experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision preferred.
    • Highly skilled in use of Excel spreadsheets with strong attention to detail with a focus on process control.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing deadlines.
