  • Overview

    This is an entry-level position for an EHS Manager Trainee to provide a wide range of EHS administrative support services to the CA EHS Manager by maintaining EHS administrative systems, programs, and policies, and monitoring EHS compliance and recordkeeping. This entails functions for four sites. Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) as it will be referred to here after, will require potential candidates to be very detailed and have great organizational skills, along with knowledge of Microsoft excel. The FSMA lead will be responsible for making sure we are prepared for all the deadlines outlined in the regulations. The position will be in responsible for compiling and maintaining the records that are outlined in the regulation.  

    Job Function

    • Air permitting data input, analyzing, and compliance is communicated
    • Storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) program criteria are completed, recorded, and communication of compliance
    • RCI database program usage and maintenance to include entries and consistent report running/analyzing
    • 3E SDS upload and GHS label printing and posting
    • Safety training meeting planning, preparation, recordkeeping and communications made to Corporate EHS Director
    • Critical safety permit audits, baghouse audits, and PIT inspection reports are completed, recorded, and compliance is communicated
    • Scheduling of meetings
    • Meeting preparations
    • Answering and sending of emails
    • Research
    • Photo taking
    • Corrective action follow-ups
    • Campaign development and involvement
    • Special projects         
    • Document CGMP’s
    • Track and develop protocols to keep us complaint with FSMA
    • Understand and be familiar with all the FSMA regulations
    • Implementation of our program so we are FSMA compliant

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum college diploma required; with 0 to 1 year related experience
